Following
attempts by the management of Kotoko to change the venue of their MTN
FA Cup encounter with the Tumu based club, management of the team say
they will not play in Wa since that is not their home grounds.
According to the manager of
the team Liman Fuseini, Kotoko allegedly tried giving the team Two
Thousand Ghana Cedis to have the venue changed to Wa but the team
rejected the offer.
Their reason being that the
home grounds for the team is Tumu not Wa. He added that the management
of Kotoko then raised the amount to Five Thousand Ghana Cedis but the
team still rejected the amount. According to Mr. Liman, Kotoko claims
Tumu is far and that the road is not also good. This he says are not
tangible reasons to have the venue changed to a neutral ground. Kotoko
is expected to play against the Tumu based club on Saturday 16th April,
2016 as part of
