“WE WERE BORN OUT OF REVOLUTION”-PRESIDENT MAHAMA WARNS NPP

The president of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has sent a warning signal to the main opposition party, NPP that the National Democratic Congress, NDC was born out of a revolution.
The president made this comment when party members met at a forum at the Ghana International Trade Fair Center in Accra.
According to the president, the opposition party has taken a violent posture for some time now, threatening to cause mayhem if things were not done their way. This he said was unfortunate in a democratic dispensation.

He however, reminded the NPP that the NDC was born out of revolution and therefore was not a party of cowards. But that 21st century politics has gone beyond “acid bathing and knife stabbing.”
The party faithfuls who had gathered at the trade fair center, were ecstatic as the president made the pronouncements.
The forum was organized ahead of the party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries that comes off Saturday, 21st November in all constituencies of the country.
